Brighten up your Christmas tree with this lovely fused glass Gingerbread House. The tradition of decorated gingerbread houses began in Germany in the early 1800s, and became more popularised after the fairy-tale of Hansel and Gretel was published in 1812.
This glass ornament is designed on this story but instead of gingerbread this is made from opaque glass and is hand painted and decorated so each piece is unique. Each house has its own quirky little design features and personality and comes in the traditional gingerbread colour. This piece includes the hanging ribbon.
