The Fused Glass Jewellery Workshop is an introductory workshop for beginners or designers who are wanting to branch out into glass art to create Jewellery. Prior to booking this workshop it is suggested that you have attended the Glass Forge Fused Glass Taster Workshop, as as some of the techniques are slightly more advanced.
As this is a jewellery workshop, we will explore different glass types such as transparent, opalescent, dichroic and iridescent glass. You will experiment with colour, be shown how to create different jewellery shapes and explore how to add design elements to add interest to your work. such as stringers, frit, enamels and bubbles to add interest to your work. During the workshop you will develop an understanding of glass fusing and with guidance this will enable you to make your beautiful bespoke piece.
